"Art is the life blood of Eureka Springs. We want to keep it flowing through all areas of the town, and we want to support our working artists and make Eureka Springs a regional arts destination." With Charlotte's partners in the ARTERY project, Chris Bradley and Randy Rust, describe the anticipation of each 8 x 4 foot panels-- "It's like Christmas as each panel arrives on the Saturday of installation. When we pick the theme our only request to the artist is to create with passion." This year will include some of the region's young rising stars, as the Artery mixes regional masters with our youth. Artists home bases range from Monticello, Arkansas, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Springfield, Mo., Rogers, and of course-- Eureka Springs. |
